My Weight Loss Story

I’m a thirty something mother who is on a journey to transforming her life both spiritually and physically. I have a 8 year old little boy who makes me smile everyday. He has the most cutest smile on the planet, he melts my heart. I grew up in a very small town in Virginia where everyone knows everyone. When I was young I thought I was fat and I was only 150, so to look back at myself I already had horrible insecurities. As a young child I struggled with my weight and self image and as I got older it got worse. I didn’t love who I was so I didn’t bother to take care of myself.  Every year I always made plans to lose weight to be healthy, but I never stuck with it. I’m very stubborn person, so I wanted to do my diet my way. When my son was about 3, I decided to go to church and my life changed for the better.

It took sometime, but I realized that I can’t reach my goal without putting God first in my choices. I made a promise to God that as of January 1st, 2014 I will make smarter and healthier choices. I was a soda lover, but I have been soda free for 41 days which is really BIG for me. I started T25, tracking my food with www.fitnesspal.com , drinking plenty of water, going to Bible Study, praying, and shakeology at www.beachbody.com . I have lost a total of 11.4 pounds!!! I follow 1400 calorie food plan, but sometimes depending on the day I do about 1250. There are so many sites that have been helping me on my journey, so please visit my Blog Love page. The Lord has been with me since day 1 and has he never given up on me, so I’m not going to give up on myself.

I look forward to sharing my story with you all!!
